SAVANNAH – Marilyn Anita Sickel Smith, 85, passed away on September 26, 2015 at Candler Hospital, under the care of Spanish Oaks and surrounded by her family.

Marilyn was born January 20, 1930 in Savannah, GA and lived in Savannah for most of her life.  She graduated from the University of Georgia with a BS in Chemistry.

For over thirty years Marilyn had a gift shop, Temptations II, on River Street, and most recently sold antiques at Habersham Antique Market.

Marilyn Smith was predeceased by her loving husband, Al Smith.  Marilyn left behind her daughter, Michelle Vine, two granddaughters, Angelique and Christina Sullivan, and a great-granddaughter Nolina.  Also surviving is her son-in-law, Barry Vine, and his two children, Bill and Stephanie Vine, and great-grandson, Jace.

The visitation will be at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel, from 9:00 am until 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, with a funeral service following at 10:00 am.  Interment will follow in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery with a short memorial.
